Welcome to the OPA website! OPA stands for Online Poker Analyzer, a smart computer program that can calculate the odds at a poker game and analyze every single move in real time online.
We created this website to introduce the software to the world and also to invite people to join as beta testers. The academic project began in 2005 when a group of students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and University of Alberta, Canada, are researching the connection between poker and mathematics.
My name is Adam Brinks and I’m one of the students involved in the academic project from MIT’s Brain and Cognitive Sciences, as well as Computer Science faculty. We are currently working on a new release of the OPA software in cooperation with students of the University of Alberta. (Note: The last version of the software works perfectly as we’ve won $24,645 in a single month)
Poker, as we all know, is fundamentally a game of social and psychological information. Thanks to the Internet technology, companies are beginning to create poker rooms on the World Wide Web where anyone from anywhere in the world could play at the same table at the same time.
However, online poker room interfaces do not support the subtle interaction between players that is essential to the psychological aspect of the game, making the games less authentic and less enjoyable than they could be. But, that doesn’t stop us, the scientists of MIT developing a computer program to beat poker.
Since we started the project in May 2005, many casinos have been trying to shut this website down by enforcing their lawyers and taunt us to cease the research and close the project silently.
Although they succeeded in shutting us down for a week, we are now back online thanks to our hosting company who fully understand the whole concept behind this academic project. Naturally, we will continue the project’s ongoing experiment with different forms of expansion to the software.
We knew we couldn’t give up right now because the more they try to bring us down, the closer we are to our goal.
We are proud of what we’re trying to achieve here. We are trying to create something that no one has ever done before, which is to create the only software in the world that can defeat any player in any poker game.
We’re not afraid to confront with the casinos because we know we didn’t break any law. They can be a major obstacle, but we won’t give up because we want to show the truth about poker. The casinos are afraid because when the final version is released to the general public, they would have a significant potential loss of profit.
Having spawned hundreds of books, dozens of movies and literally millions of players from around the world, poker is recognized as one of the most popular card games on Earth. It is also known as one of the fastest ways to make money online.
If you've ever watched people playing card games on TV, chances are that you've watched Texas Hold’em. One of the reasons for its popularity is because the game is easy to understand. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to get started.
Once you've read the rules and played for a couple of hours, you'll already feel your skill improving. You may even be surprised just how good you can play at online poker in a short amount of time.
But poker is gambling, right?
Annie Duke, a poker champion said, “No. If you know how to play, then you’re not gambling at all. Poker is a game of skill.”
Skill, Skill, Skill.
Poker is not a game of chance or luck. In other words, the more you play poker, the better you’ll become and the bigger reward you can bring home. Just like any other sport, you have to practice and practice to be good at something you really enjoy and actually go somewhere with it.
Of course, there’s nothing wrong with being luck. We all need a little bit of luck to win huge every now and then. But if you totally rely on luck, you'll be in trouble.
When you play a game of chance or luck, that means you’re risking your money for something you can’t control. We called it gambling.
And gambling is when you predict who’s going to win in a match. Gambling is when you play Roulette or Baccarat where you can win or lose with your eyes closed.
Poker is different. You can’t win or lose with your eyes closed.
Let’s forget about winning a poker game for a minute, and think about losing. Now let me ask you one simple question; is it possible to lose a poker game on purpose?
The answer is YES, it is very possible.
In the meantime, is it possible for you to lose a game like Baccarat or Roulette or Craps on purpose?
NO, it’s not possible — which means that you have no control over the outcome, thus making them completely games of chance. Now that’s gambling.
Again, poker is different. You do have control over the outcome; therefore poker is a game of skill, just like chess.
In a game of poker, you can actually control your opponents.
Why poker?

We believe that poker, especially Texas Hold’em, can be beaten mathematically.
Just like Dr. Edward Thorp who used the card counting technique to rake in thousands of dollars in a very short amount of time from land-based casinos. He is also known as the author of a popular book “Beat the Dealer” which was the first book ever to prove that blackjack could be beaten mathematically.
The pensive professor has succeeded in shaking the gambling world with an impeccable system for beating a great card game. In fact, he could have won more during his initial expedition in Las Vegas had his uncanny ability at winning not drawn the annoying attention of the casino security, which led to repeated expulsions from the various premises that he visited in one night.
As expected, the news quickly spread throughout the gambling community, which was very impatient to try his new methods of winning. The previously unknown professor now became an instant celebrity among blackjack enthusiasts.
Another good example is when Deep Blue, a sophisticated computer chess program developed by IBM, successfully defeated the world champion, Garry Kasparov in a six-game match by two wins to one with three draws.
That major event had changed how the world sees computer program as it became the first machine ever to win a chess game against a reigning world champion.
Feng-hsiung Hsu, the creator of Deep Blue, has proved that mathematics in a form of machine can win against any human because it has more capacity to store millions of simulation data. At that time, Deep blue was capable of evaluating 200 million positions per second – this is what made Kasparov lose the match.
The Online Poker Analyzer we’re trying to develop is using the same basic approach as card counting and Deep Blue, which is mathematical algorithms combined with human behavioral patterns and millions of poker simulations in its database.
Unfortunately, some of the casino managers overheard our project. Thus, they’ve banned our names from entering their online poker rooms. However, they CANNOT ban the software because it’s a stand-alone computer program that has nothing to do with the casino system and is not illegal.
To this point, none of our beta testers has been banned as we kept their identities classified. We also instructed them how to test properly in order not to draw too much attention and to generally avoid having too much winning in a certain amount of time.
As long as they use the software rationally, then nothing can stop us making progress.
The truth is that online casinos really just want everybody to have average wins, and average losses. Regardless of what happens to you or me on the poker table, the casino still gets paid for the rake. Therefore, it's in their best interest for the money to be equally shared among players and to keep them all relatively happy.
But here’s the thing—they got a threshold.
You’re not supposed to win too much.
And if you hit their precious “threshold” by winning too much, you’ll find your account flat-out on the electronic curb. Therefore, we suggest our beta testers not to win more than $400 every single day.
You don’t have to be a master in Texas Hold’em game. In fact, you don’t have to understand poker at all, because the OPA will do all the work for you.
Right now we need you to try the software on various online casinos and provide us with some feedback so we can improve the OPA and achieve the results we aim for.
What do we aim for?
Our aim is for the software to be able to surpass a reigning poker champion on a REAL-TIME online poker match. Our aim is also to show the truth about poker that it is 100% a game of skill, not a game of chance/luck.
There is no other software out there that can come close to the quality and accuracy of OPA. We want to show the world that the OPA is the absolute best software in the poker industry. We want to spread the word out as soon as possible before the final version is released. We want to create a great name for this masterpiece and surprise the poker community at the same time.
And we want the user to profit from it as well – day in, day out.

How the software works?
OPA specializes in collecting and analyzing millions of information pertaining to poker players. The software´s capability lies in studying human behavioral patterns and evaluating poker strategies all at the same time.
First, the software works by examining each of your opponents’ behavioral patterns by tracking their movement continuously. Second, it attempts to use the data to calculate the best win/loss ratio (calculating the odds on each turn). And then it will choose the best movement algorithm for each opponent and make a decision based on millions of poker simulations in its brain. It will tell you the likelihood of a fold, call or raise occurring in a given situation.
This module unifies all the expert knowledge used in the program, does a better job of representing the type of decision making needed to play strong poker, and improves the way information is propagated throughout the program.
Real-time poker simulations are used to calculate the expected values of betting decisions. The program generates an instance of data, and then simulates the rest of the game to conclude a numerical outcome.
The "brain" of the software is a neural network which acts like an artificial intelligence containing the prime database of poker simulations and patterns. These simulations and patterns are securely encrypted within the software. This brain is responsible for determining your move.
When a player forms one of these patterns, the software will find the perfect match of simulation in less than a second. Even though most of these patterns only lead 30% to 40% of winning probability, they are extremely safe moves just enough for you to rake in $200, $300 or $500 each day.
Of course, the OPA was not designed for taking huge risks.
The result?
An amazing win/loss ratio of 9:1*
We are proud to say that the current achievement is literally impossible to be matched by any other poker software in the world.
*Note: 100 OPA beta testers who played Texas Hold’em poker on the Internet for 100 hours have won 7-9 times more compared to those who played without the OPA at a LIVE poker session against professional poker players.
Here’s what Eric has to say about the OPA…
How you could get involved?
We are in the middle of completing a new release of the OPA software, but we couldn’t continue without beta testers. Since each individual has a different way of playing, we need more regular people to test the software on a daily basis.
You could participate in the beta testing phase by obtaining the software license directly from us (for only $50 refundable deposit). After that, you must provide your suggestions on any possible ways of improving the Online Poker Analyzer.
Note: although not everyone is eligible to participate, you are welcome to submit your registration form for review and possible qualification.
Warning: Do not obtain the software license at any other websites as we cannot guarantee its originality and safety. We have seen a couple of similar software that contain malicious virus being sold on certain forums that can steal your private information and damage your computer.
A lot of people have tried to reverse engineer (imitate) the OPA software, but failed to deliver the same result. This is the ONLY official website where you can get the genuine software.
Why should I participate?
By participating in the beta testing phase:
You could be among the first few to test the software and actually gain an unrestricted access to the latest version of Online Poker Analyzer and share your opinion with us;
You could receive free technical support;
You could collaborate directly with developers and other beta testers using dedicated sections of our forum;
And most importantly, you are allowed to keep all the money you’ve won during and after the beta test period as the current software is working perfectly fine.
Why do I have to pay for the license?
So many people write to us, why would we charge our beta users to test the software? The answers are simple:
1. Because the license you pay for just $50 is a refundable deposit.
If you send us your test report along with proof that you’ve played 100 real money hands (with screenshots) and when we have gathered enough test results, we will refund the deposit 100% back to you. As a result, you can own the software for free!
2.Because it’s the logical thing to do.
Because you are investing on a software that can generate a constant winning over the Internet. Remember, you can keep all the earnings you’ve won at the online casinos. While there’s a limit of how much you can win per day, there is no limit of how many years you can use the software to your advantage.
The current version of OPA is already stable on running in any desktop or laptop computer and capable of winning against 90% of all Texas Hold’em players from around the world. Accordingly, when you test the software on a real money poker session, you will most definitely win more money.
3.Because if you pay nothing, then it’s worth nothing.
We need people to understand our devotion, commitment and hard work on this project. Usually, people don’t appreciate stuff they can get for free, that’s why we would never classify the OPA project as an open-source.
By paying for the license, that means you are serious in testing the software and making some money at the same time. By paying for the software, you will want to report back any problems you experience to help us improve the software even further.
Last year, when we distributed the software for free (to limited people and for limited time), only 20% of them who provided us with some valuable feedback. Thus, we had to terminate their license and discontinue the free distribution program before they jeopardize our hard work by making too much commotion at the online casinos.
4.Because we need to limit the amount of beta testers.
We can’t just give away the software to every person in the world. We actually have to charge something to prevent the masses exploiting the software. Besides, we certainly don’t want some teenagers to use the software to play a poker game as it is against the law.
Our Guarantee:
We want you to feel safe as well.
Should you have any issues with the casinos or should any problems arise when you play poker with our software, you can always report them to us. We will employ all our resources to solve the problem at once.
Your investment will be completely protected.
If for some reason you decide that you don’t want to continue testing the software any longer or that you’re unable to test the software appropriately, you can always cancel your beta test account in any day within 60 days of your first license date. After that, we will terminate your license, lock the software down and all the fees 100 % will be refunded.
That said, you can now go to the online casinos and enjoy the experience with no risk whatsoever.

What do I have to do?
When taking part in the beta testing, it is essential for you to:
· Download and install the Online Poker Analyzer in your computer;
· Spend a certain amount of time on familiarizing yourself with the software and testing it on various online casinos;
· Prepare and send out bug reports through emails on any errors found;
· Provide suggestions on ways to improve the software; and,
· Report on compatibility issues in your computer (if there’s any).
It is mandatory for every beta tester to fill out a short form once a week and send it back to us for complete evaluation
Please remember that the online casinos will always be watching over poker player that looks suspicious. Please DO NOT win more than $400 every single day. That would raise the alert system and put you on a red list (or blacklist).
What kind of results can I expect?
The best part when using the Online Poker Analyzer is that you can keep all the winnings to yourself. The current OPA has a magnificent win/loss ratio of 9:1 – therefore, every time you lose, you will win 9 times consecutively*.
*Note: the result varies on each player.
